Good news for all job seekers! The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam 2025. This happened today, on October 16, 2025. If you took the exam, you can now see how well you did.

What Is SSC CGL?
SSC CGL is a big exam in India for government jobs. It helps people get posts like assistant, inspector, and more in offices. The Tier 1 exam is the first step and was held in many cities across the country.
When and Where to Find the Answer Key
The provisional answer key, along with your response sheet and question paper, is now live on the official SSC website. You can use it to check your answers and guess your marks. This key is not final yet. SSC will update it after looking at any complaints.
How to Download the Answer Key
Downloading is simple. Follow these steps:
- Go to the SSC website: www.ssc.gov.in.
- Look for the “Answer Key” link on the home page.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth or Password.
- Click submit. Your answer key will show up.
- Save it as a PDF for later.
You need your SSC One Time Registration (OTR) number to log in.
Raise Objections If Needed
Think an answer is wrong? You can tell SSC about it. Here’s how:
- Log in to ssc.gov.in using your details.
- Go to the objection section.
- Pick the question by its number and section.
- Pay Rs. 100 for each question you question. This fee does not come back.
- Add proof for your point.
Do this online only. There is no way to check scores again later.
Key Dates to Remember
- Release Date: October 16, 2025.
- Objection Time: Starts now and ends soon (check the site for exact close date).
- Final Key: Will come after SSC reviews objections.
- Qualifying Marks: 30% for General, 25% for OBC and EWS, 20% for SC/ST and PH.
